The Wing Coop at 3971 Wasatch Blvd has tasty wings with a variety of sauces, draft beer, and a ski motif, not to be missed if you are in the mood for wings. I happen to know that the WasatchGirl loves wings.....

Chanon Thai is hands down the best Thai in SLC. But expect to wait on a friday night (well worth it) and i believe they are closed on Saturday. Great curry dishes. They are located on 900 S. and 300 E. Oh did i mention spicy.

This past week I tried out the Tin Angel on 4th south and about 3rd west. Excellent! I had a pear and spinach salad, Tin Angel martini (made with lemoncillo) and shared a tiramisu with a friend. Everything about the meal was superb! The atmosphere is quaint with live music on a regular basis. However, since there are only about 8 tables in the restaurant make sure to make a reservation, even during the week.

As a former Utah resident, my fave sushi place was Go Sushi (now called Oh Sushi, I think). Pretty convenient to Sugarhouse. Tiny place, but the best sushi I've ever had.

Fiddler's Elbow is a great pub, too. Relaxed atmosphere and not as crowded as the Bayou. If you've got kids with you, you can dine at the Salt Lake Pizza and Pasta on the other side of the wall. Same food and same owners.

Wow... great to know. I have yet to try out Go Sushi / Oh Sushi and am always looking for new dining joints.

I have tried out Fiddlers Elbow and SL Pizza and Pasta. Funnily enough, we did have kids there that night and it was a perfect alternative. =)

    Thanks for the comment, Amber.

    - Sages Cafe - I have heard from a handful of people this place is great, but have yet to check it out.
    - New Yorker - this one is a classic! Perfect business restaurant.
    - Oasis - this one is good!
    - One World - how did I NOT put this on my initial list! Fantastic food where you pay what you feel is a reasonable price.
