I want to second Rachel's recommendation to give blood. I've been the recipient of a transfusion myself -- I had extremely low blood pressure during my recent kidney transplant and so I was given a unit of blood to help stabilize me. It is because of people like Rachel that I was able to receive that. So, please, donate!

I love ARUP. Not only does it do great work, if I'm not mistaken, it's also a company that's great to work for, as it's often ranked super high on the Utah's best businesses list. Or whatever that annual list thing is called. It seems like they take good care of their employees, give back to the community....
