Living the Nomadic Life - Tips and Tidbits
We had two evenings in the Boone area, and both nights we ate at Angelica's. It was fantabulous. :)
Glad to see you had a good time!!
Thanks for a great tribute to Boone, and to NC overall. I lived and climbed in NC before I moved out to California. The climbing is amazing, locals are friendly and laid-back, and the fall foliage is simply stunning. NC is (perhaps thankfully) still a bit of a 'well-kept secret'. Glad you had a great experience, and thanks for sharing it with everybody else.
I hope the New River Gorge (in WV) is part of your itinerary. Like Boone, and other parts of the South, the New is under-rated, but is at part with the best crags in the country.
Cheers
Thank you much for the comment and added beta. I greatly appreciate it and am glad that you as well had a great time in Boone.
Best.
Rachel
Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the comment. I agree fully with your description of Boone. Wow, what a wonderful place!
As for the New, it was on the itinerary but is on hold due to me needing to take a break from the rope. I hear the place is stunning, but alas, I think my trip is mostly bouldering at this point.
Hope you are well!
Best.
