You probably had built up the 2 trad leads into some awful emotionally draining monster which killed your self confidence. Which is no bad thing, its better to be safe than sorry. Trad is a cool, if scary, way to climb. You could drop your grades and stick to single pitch and less intimidating stuff to see if you really do have a talent for it. Then head back out onto the towers. Don't give up on it yet!
