Rach, I read this book on the recommendation of a friend and I absolutely loved it. The story takes off from the first page and never slows down. Like you, I couldn't put it down. The mistreatment of both people and animals I thought added to the power of the story. And the ending was terrific. Glad to see you liked this book.
