  • The Salt Lake Running Co sponsors a few "teaser runs" before the Marathon. They're long-distance non-competitive runs on Saturday mornings. I don't know if they do them for the half-marathon, but since the runs are out-and-back, you could always turn around whenever you got to your distance. I'm thinking of doing one when it gets closer to the day of the half-marathon. Good luck.
